Police in the base GTA 5 game can be extremely annoying. You do something accidentally and get the cops on you. Then you have to escape them which takes lots of time.
This mod fixes that by adding a realistic bribing system where you can bribe the law enforcement chasing you. It is much easier to bribe a cop earlier on but if you have higher wanted levels then it will be much harder for you to bribe them. Also, the higher the wanted level, the more expensive the bribing will be. Also, when you bribe them you will undergo an animation which takes actual time. This symbolizes the player contacting the authorities and trying to bribe them. There will be colorized text to tell you what happened without having to read the actual notification. Lastly, if they do not accept your bribe it will raise your wanted level.

Installation:
1. Download ScriptHookV, ScriptHookVDotNet, and NativeUI and put them in their respective locations. there should be many tutorials about how to do that.
2. Drag the CLE.dll file, CLE.pdb file, and CLE.ini file into your scripts folder (if you are new to modding make a scripts folder within your GTA 5 main directory)
3. If you want to change some of the settings of the mod go into the .ini file to change them
(Instructions will be there in the ini file)
4. Play the game and enjoy the new policing system. (Press J or the keybind that you set in the ini file to open the menu)
Bugs:
-All of them have been fixed so far
Other Mods that might interfere with this mod:
-Any mod that has a warrant system
-Any mod that takes explicit control of the wanted system (meaning you can't lower or make it higher)
Future Goals:

@briancatmaster I don't know if it's intentional or not, but because when you get 2 or more stars, the police attacks you on sight, it would be nice to halt the police from attacking you even at 5 stars when you are contacting the police. I know this is probably getting into the police AI territory, but it would be nice (don't care about story missions anymore, fk it lol). Also, just for convenience (especially while driving), after successfully bribing the police, make the menu close by itself, so you don't have to press esc to get out of the bribe menu.
@Eingenvector I don't think that my mod affects whether or not the police attack you on sight. You could get some mods that prevent that like Better Chases+ or RDE 3.1.1 Patched but they are hard to setup. I will definitely consider fixing those changes in the upcoming update. Probably going to take 1-3 weeks though.

@Safwankafi Yeah I can make that a feature instead of the menu. I will put that as a option in my ini feature in the next update.
Very nice idea, but i think you don't need any IU here. A press of a button for a bribe call (Let's say you call someone in the brass like a chief of police) and just set a random amount by wanted level. You can use the animation for caling someone and a few dialogue would make it more realistic.

Cool mod @briancatmaster! I hope you are open for new ideas. It would be nice if it has a pre-bribing mechanics also. Like you could bribe the cops even if you're not wanted. So when you pre-bribing them, the cops will ignore you for a day or something like that. And create an ini file so that we can choose for ourselves how much pre-bribing the cops will cost us.

idea: The police can "partially" accept a bribe or make a deal to drop your wanted level. For example, if i have a 5 star wanted level & try to bribe them, maybe in some instances, they could come back with an agreement to drop back to 2 or 3 stars.
I'm thinking of 2 Fast 2 Furious where they have that dodgy guy working for the cops who can "give them a window"
That's what trainer mods are for; to turn off the police altogether. They are just as bad as they are in real life, so turn them off.
