Description:
This mod let you set an autonomous vehicle that will follow you wherever you go in the world.
DO NOT WORRY ABOUT YOUR CAR! just keep driving;
If the vehicle gets too far from you or stuck, it will warp the to your current location (when distance reaches 70).
The key to this mod is that the vehicle will WARP (teleport) to you SEAMLESSLY if you keep driving away

- You can now also set a vehicle by aiming and pressing NUMPAD7.
- If your bodyguard is near you when you press NUMPAD1, the bodyguard will go and drive the vehicle. (can disabled in the ini)
- Added an option to change the minimum distance that the car will follow you. (in the ini file)

- HOTFIX: Removed CCV: SET CAR notification but to remove every UI element change HUD to 0 (not advised).

- Find your GTA V installation folder (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V). It should have files like GTAV.exe and x64
- Requires Alexander Blade Script hook v (http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/)
- Extract "CarCompanion-1.0.asi" & "CarCompanion.ini" into the game main directory;
- 1. Launch the game
- 2. Press NUMPAD7, while in a vehicle or while aiming at a vehicle, to claim it as your own.
- 3. press NUMPAD1 to make it follow wherever you go! or press again to stop it.
Controls:
- 'NUMPAD7' key to choose the car (INI FILE)
- 'NUMPAD1' key for " AUTOFOLLOW ON" (INI FILE)

Awesome mod, could you make a remote control car mod too? So we could for example go into the back of a pickup truck and shoot while driving? Or take control of AI cars?

Awesome Mod! Can you make more than one vehicle follow you? That would be awesome! I use it on race tracks and regular driving. Its so much fun! would be sweet to have like 5/10 cars follow you.

This mod is awesome but is it possible that you can make it so that more than 1 car follows the character?
can u make the car follow me straight in one track if I change the track he just follow me on that track
I've seen this in drug wars TBOGT when you drive a separate car and Henrique and Armando follow you around sometimes in sports or supercars
Does anyone know a way to avoid that bodyguard does disappear during the drive?
