Wooden AK-47 Mod for Assault Rifle

This was the last of the retextures I had after playing around with them so I've decided to upload it.
All the Grand Theft Auto games in the series have always had a wooden style AK-47 to my knowledge, however Gta V changed that and made it an all metal sort of deal. So with this mod, I turned it into how its been before.
Some may notice that I do not upload a S or N converted types of files of the original texture. This is because according to my testing, it makes no
difference.
I truly hesitate releasing these types of mods sometimes because many retextures are not creative and follow others paths. However, there surely are very talented and free minded people on this domain, and I do not deny that whatsoever. Additionally, I feel this one is the least like that since it is something I made only for myself at first, so I only had to do whatever I felt was right. I hope that there won't be too many retextures, because they will all be generally the same after a while.
Installation:
Make backup of your w_ar_assaultrifle.ytd and w_ar_assaultrifle+hi.ytd before starting.
1.Launch OpenIV
2.Navigate to: \update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc.rpf\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf 3.Once there, replace your w_ar_assaultrifle.ytd and w_ar_assaultrifle+hi.ytd with mine. Save.
5. Finish and launch.

@ZIPPO JOB I really hope you're just messing with me,I sincerely do. Please take a look at the dates of both mods. I've also mostly given up on this whole modding scene, it was better back in Gta IV,but now not much is original and people just go off other's ideas. It's repetitive and boring. Most of those new models are also done quite poorly, the model exports and swaps aren't corrected and some have no animation. They don't even bother to place models into the feasible area of viewing for the player, so they aren't even in the hand and such. Is this because this feature is new? No, it's because they do not know how to properly do so, and wouldn't anyway because they're mostly stubborn. So I'll take my leave from here. Everyone who make these mods do it for the attention, so be gone with them. As much as I truly hate to boast my works, I had modded in Gta Iv phenomenally and the people who I worked with were sincere and brilliantly creative. I miss those people, and they did not come to this new medium and have all moved on. I decided to give this a try unlike them, but I now wish to not go on. Rest in loving peace the stability of the old modding community. The people who did not for the attention, but because of all the great times and fun.

Nice one I was looking for something like that, modern blackened weapons are boring me and i'm a S.T.A.L.K.E.R maniac.... so downloaded and endorsed. More wooden weapons please !
@Headx I will work on shotgun and sawn off, and I also agree with you that the newer gun skins look a little lame. I'm also a huge S.T.A.L.K.E.R fan as well! Thank you for the feedback.
Hey, i give it a try for one hour and i found that your wood texture is way too bright while rendering in game, you should darken it a little more (-just a suggestion-). I've already did it myself for my personal taste.
And by the way great choice of wood texture and carrefully merged. Really nice wood texture with gorgeous wood ribs ! Love it !

@mrmeatyworth Expect the wooden shotgun and maybe the sawn off for a very possible release tomorrow. The stock of the weapon is very flimsy to modify, and I think I may even be first to do so. However, do not quote me on that.

I created first a " mods folder" OpenIV and there lay a copy of the x64 folder from ( update / x64 ) because when I replace the texture in the Update / x64 folder in the root , the rockstars Social Club to start the game makes an update and makes the change normal again. Now the mods folder I can then replace the texture without the latter is then made by Social Club reversed but the game itself will not be adopted this change and do not have your skin , only the default skins for Assault Rifle I hope you can understand me so because I myself am German and have translated here into English with Google Translate

@Butt Head Any way to remove or make the rail mounts invisible? I don't use attachments on my Assault Rifle, anyway.

I replace it with false mod and I forget to backup it before. I always get error after shoot using assault riffle and in some mission

Nice mod! this is how the AK should have been in the first place. I hate that ugly gray texture. I only used the OD green one till now. Thanks again! :)
