New Sniper crosshair & with or without standard crosshair
Credit for Killman88 for the original mod.
About:
This mod changes the standard and advanced scopes plus there's an option for disabled in-game reticle and kill X mark. (usual weapons)
(If you choose the one without usual white dot crosshair you need to use in-game setting a simple target. Go to in-game menu go to settings/display/weapon target make it to "simple")
How it works:
The markers are still shown on your screen I just made them 100 percent transparent. And scopes were made with photoshop, enjoy.
In a folder "Without white dot" you'll have the example 1&2
In a folder "With white dot" you'll have the example 3&4
5 shows how it looks like without a white dot on the standard weapon.
How to Install:
Download the program OpenIV, open it and locate your GTA V folder > mods > update > update.rpf > x64 > patch > data > cdimages > scaleform generic.rpf > click edit on the top> put the hud reticle.gfx here
Remember to back up the files.

Pretty good. I always hated vanilla scopes.
I have Realistic Gun Sounds installed. Any idea why this mod is messing with my shot sounds?
The issue above was fixed, but, even though I installed the version without the white dot, I still get the red dot on using scopes.

They moved the scaleform_generic.rpf location, now It's In update\update.rpf\x64\data\cdimages.

Is there a version of this that keeps the white dot but makes the red X transparent?

@Raketa hello i unfortunately don't know how to edit gfx files. i would like have a crosshair replace for somehow sniper scope but that uses the sight from the hunter gunner because there is now a FGM 148 Javelin weapon and the hunters gunner sight would be fit for that Javelin. is somehow possible to add the gunner sight (its in heli_cam.gfx) to one of the sniper scopes instead?
@WarDaddy91 I definitely can't do it but you could. I remember I edited the files using some kind of exporter. Search google for .gfx exporter. It does use some kind of weird formats so you'll have to do some research. Just try and mess around. You'll get it eventually. Good luck.
@Raketa yes i did it already. look to the weapons FGM-148 Javelin i was menthod there making the CLU scope. i used JPEXS Free Flash Decompilier or so
