why can't NPC's get in the backseats?

downloaded purely for the "chronal space shift" stuff. lmao. seriously though this is great! i just want more immersive animations and i haven't found a way to sit in enclosed chairs or beach chairs yet. even with menyoo's perform closest scenario action.
mod works in terms of main missions and i have no crashes. my issue is, Earth flickers and the other planets aren't visible while i'm in space! so i can't even land on any them as they don't appear. any idea wth is going on?
