Time only moves when you move! This mod depicts a game mechanic from a recently released game with the same name.
Installation
Needs Script Hook V. As usual, copy the .asi file into the game directory with your other mods.
Usage
Press F5 to toggle mod. Time only continues normally when the player is moving or certain controls are pressed (movement, fire, accelerate, brake). Hotswitch can be triggered by aiming at a ped and pressing the "Character Switch" Key.
Tested with keyboard and XBOX360-Controller.
Known Bugs
You can always resume to normal speed by holding any of controls mentioned above.

As @Eddlm already wrote, we both released similar scripts that bring some of the SUPERHOT features into GTA. I can only underline his statement. In the end it's all about fun.
To quote him:
Make sure to try BOTH of the scripts so you can see which one suits you better! Don't simply download the first one you saw. And of course don't start asking who did it first or which one should stay and which should delete theirs, that's stupid and only encourages hostility.
And yes, my mod does NOT feature HotSwitch. Yet. ;-)
Try and abuse the screen effects to get a special feeling. Doesn't require to be pure white + red + black, though I guess you can do that with some ReShade magic.

@Eddlm thanks for your input. I added hotswitch yesterday, and like yours it also works with cars. Thanks for pointing me to IS_PED_GETTING_UP, will use.
The decision if time is stopped is also dependant on entity-speed, which doesn't instantly drop to zero if the player stops running. I'll try a bigger treshold value.
My plan was to add a little rampage-like gamemode next, where peds attack you - basically something like endless mode. About gun mechanics - not sure if I want to touch that topic yet. To make it anything like superhot, I guess the player should be allowed to carry only one weapon with little ammunition, otherwise gun-stealing is only half the fun. I don't like the idea of messing with the players gun inventory though. I might give it another thought if my gamemode turns out too boring and/or not challenging enough. It's my first attempt at GTAV-modding, so one step at a time.
would be nice if some1 would make effect for it. i mean like in game sniper elite

Please add an INI file of some sort, F5 imo is such a stupid key to press since multiple trainers use that key.

How do I compile the source? I made some edits that I want to try out but I'm pretty new to this, literally been trying to do this for 3 hours. I looked up and found asi files are just renamed dll files so I have been trying every source I can to figure out how to make them into a dll using microsoft visual studio, but none of it works. Please help.
