What it does?
This mod overhauls the health regeneration system in Gta V. Armor feels weak and clunky, and most of the time you buy it because frankly, it is there.
Fighting against waves of cops with perfect aim and perception like in older GTAs is next to impossible.
This mod takes it a step further and rebalances the game with a simple edit. A lot of tests were done and I made sure it wouldn't feel overpowered or under-powered and balanced it just perfectly. Surviving first few stars if the player is careful should not be an issue. Once you reach the last two stars, the game becomes challenging but it is not stacked against you.
Just like in PayDay 2, armor starts regenerating seconds after not being hit (Exactly 3 seconds). Once your armor goes down, you receive health damage until the armor regenerates again.
It allows you to go rambo, for a limited time, then forces you into cover. If you are not careful, you can get damaged, and possibly killed. The armor drains quickly, so watch yourself.
INSTALLATION
Unrar the dll file into your Gta V scripts folder.

to change parameters? (for example, the regeneration time)

@erik9631 Great idea but now every character has armor by default which is just ridiculous, because now you don't ever have to buy it again.
Also, how about a system like this: if your armor drops to 0, say for example, 3 times its gone and you have to buy a new one.
An .ini file would be great too if anyone would like to increase the time for the armor to refill again, or the speed.

@jedijosh920 It was made from scratch but I used the Eddim's tick events and forgot to rename the namespace. I gave him a credit and he said the code has nothing to do with him.

@erik9631 I'm NOT trolling. To be honest, people like you are the sole reason I never make my mods open source. You take the code, edit a few things and then call it yours. In this case, all you did was delete his cover coding.

Though simple, this mod really is what this game needs most

Simple but makes firefights way better. Especially great with mods like RDE.
This amazing script makes shootouts much more entertaining, since you won't be taken down easily by aimbot cops.
