This makes the weapon inventory work just like in previous gta's, any weapon of the same type overrides the previous one, at game start, at character switch, and when you pick a new weapon up.
USAGE:
-Just start the game up, you will only have one weapon of each type, just like in previous gtas like IV and San Andreas.
-Weapons which are picked up from the ground will also replace your current weapon, so I recommend useing something like this: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/manual-pickups-hkh191
or this https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/immersive-pickups

Installation:

Now I liked how in gta V rockstar allowed the player to carry all the weapons at the same time, however
I do kinda like the limiting that games like GTA IV and GTA SA and previous gtas gave the player in regards to the weapon type.
Now with this, you will only have a weapon of each type, and if you pick one up from the ground it will replace the previous one.
Making mods like gunlockers, saving weapons in trunks, weapons being lost on deaths and arrests and picking weapons up manually, a more usefull addon to your games.
