There's a license plate forger in Vinewood behind the wax museum who will change your car's license plate (for a fee, of course).
It's a great way to customize your car.
It's also a great way to lower your wanted level by one star ;)
Requirements
- Script Hook + ASI Loader
- Script Hook V Dot Net
Install
- Place the .vb file into the "scripts" folder in the GTA V root directory. If the scripts folder doesn't exist, create it.
Updates
May 28: Made blip sprite short-range on the minimap so it only appears when the location is visible on the minimap.
It's a great way to customize your car.
It's also a great way to lower your wanted level by one star ;)

Is there anyway to change the colors of the license plate text, or even the background?
@isosplz the texture of the license plate background can be changed by editing the game's texture files. There are also some mods available that change the plate texture.
the license plate stays the same or it loses changes if you close the game like the trainers do?
@jlhcmx it will stay the same for that car. And if you save your car in a garage it will save the plate in your savefile, too.

"no es un miembro de" = "not a member of" if it helps
@jlhcmx your version of script hook dot net is outdated. You have to use the experimental build, not v0.9

All my custom license plates are missing now, it's like a trainer, if you close the game changes are gone. Can you do something about it? I've made changes to default cars license plates btw.
@jlhcmx it only saves the license plate for the car you're currently driving. And if you don't save the car in a garage spot you will lose the license plate. This mod is not intended to change all license plates.
