Just download this Aks-47 short barreled version and follow the readme for installation. It replaces the COMPACT ASSAULT RIFLE, there all caps you can't miss it.

I'm happy you're making new weapons, but for whatever reason my weapon skins just stopped working. I tried re-installing them, but it doesn't work. Weapon effects, vehicles and other oiv mods still work. Sorry if it's a stupid question, but any idea what this is?
no idea, its a pretty big texture file though.

@TheGoblin327 in what directory you put the weapon mods?
lowrider2 in the dlc packs driectory, but its not going to show up unless you add it as a new addon which I have not done... 0.0. TBH I just used the ak pistol addon and changed the name of my model to get it in single player.
@ReaperVC thanks man, yeh so I'm almost done with all my other packs updating the textures to use the gta 5 enviorment map and use spec maps so they react a little better with the lighting. So the Ak's and the m4 will be reposted the next couple days. What NEW guns do you wanna see added?
@Davo I'd love to see some nice bolt-action sniper rifle replacement, some kind of classic Remington 700 with wooden or polymer stock, currently all the sniper rifle replacements are tacticool thingies.

Other than that, some badass RPK or PKM replacement for the machine gun in game would be neat, I think the only replacement for it that I've seen was in some outdated Battlefield conversion pack

@Davo cool, if you can't find anything like that I suppose a SPAS-12 would be nice too - there's only one released and the texture for it is horrible (guess it has no spec maps implemented)

@H3LLGHa5T the tints? yeah they sort of work, I mean they aren't gonna mess it up, and it'll sort of change the color.
It's nice, but I suppose it doesn't make much of an improvement from the original ingame version... Any chance you could add a custom sight or make an interest variant of somesort? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Mine always disappears after I switch to a different character. Is that Rockstar's form of DRM so people don't use online weapons offline?
Can anyone confirm if this is a good mod or not? any upsides or downsides?
