Glock 17 Sound for the Combat Pistol

Well then, here we go on my first sound mod!
I'm working on the ugly sound you might hear when firing the weapon. I'll fix that when I can in a future update. I figure it's just a leftover sound from pedestrian weapon sounds or something like that.
Use this modification with the proper weapon modification by Proudnoob4, to make it more realistic: https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/glock-pack
Installation:
Must have OpenIV and edit mode switched [ON].
Extract this file to any location (remember it!)
1) Travel to x64/audio/sfx/WEAPONS_PLAYER.rpf/ptl_combat.awc
2) Select "New" and then "Import openFormats"
3) Find the mod and select the .oac file and press "OK"
4) Start up the game and enjoy!
Or you could just drag the .oac file into WEAPONS_PLAYER.rpf. Have it your way. :)

Sorry, but it seems the game tricked you thinking it replaced the sound, that's the standard pistol sound. For a guide what a Glock sounds like:

You prolly didn't notice it updating the game files.
@harryone02 It replaced the sound partially.
What a coincidence though, that's the exact video I used for the sound! Haha!
I'm still trying to figure out the other ugly noise that I keep hearing, but each time I try to fix something all the weapon sounds turn off and only impact sounds can be heard.

@Proudnoob4 No problem! Would you also like some more weapons sounds? I've been working on quite a few. Right now I have the Beretta 92fs perfected, and I will be posting that one tomorrow morning and later in the day I will have a whole pack of weapons sounds (hopefully all of them or most of them) from the Veroken Weapons Pack.

why do i keep getting this error message?- ptl_combat.oac(Line 15): File "ptl_combat\0x160DAA81.wav" not found.
i am following the directions.

I followed the directions in the read me and when I put the ptl_combat.oac file in OPEN IV says, ptl_combat.oac(Line 15): File "ptl_combat\0x160DAA81.wav" not found.
Hey don't know if you are alive still lmao but could you teach me how to start making custom sounds for gta 5? I've been wanting to do it for soooo long but no vids on youtube or even any place please and thank you:)
