@Barak101 Hey, are these solid? As in, do they have collision? Because that would be SICK combined with the cap-mod. Anyone playing as star-wars figure will want to be able to throw their sabers and have them return just like in the movies. You can even set on a colorstreak on the weapon so it matches up to the color of the swords ;D (by that I mean the Cap-mod has it built in. Much like the Flash has while he is running. So it would look SOOOO good combined with these being thrown).
That is something I hope modder such as yourself will think about in general. Because now that the Cap-Mod is out. People can start actually using the weapon you guys create the way they are really supposed to. All they need is the collision so they dont just travel straight through stuff.
Like having the DareDevil escrimas with collision would also be sick. And if one has made those, one can just color the same pair blue, and you got a set for Nightwing too.
Point being: Making the weapons for supers now got a HUGE value in comparison to before. People will pay BIG to be able to download special Patreon access only packs with awesome weapons made for all kinds of different supers. Like Batarang, Shuriken (they are used by Batman, Nightwing and countless others), the already mentioned two for one escrima stick, Thors hammer (Mjulnir), throwing knives and even katana (the knife and sword set would go perfect with your Deadpool), and you get the drift. People are asking all over for weapons with collision. So again, I really think it would be a nice move to get a few more well earned dollars. You could release some, and have some be patreons only. The really special ones should be pay only. Like Mjulnir, the Escrimas and such. As that is what people would want to pay for. I am guessing alot would pay you just to make (a) certain weapon(s) for their favorite char if it is not already made.
I really think it is a worth while investment for you, as you are on patreon. + I imagine alot of the weapons are tons of fun to make! :)
@GAGER Yes, it have collision and you can use it with Captain America mod, Even I use it. When the cap-mod was published I thought like you, it will be like the movie. Thanks for the idea, I will do Mjulnir and more weapons. You can follow on facebook to be updated :).

I have also been thinking about something. Is it possible use the switchblade mechanism to make the sightsaber activate when one grabs in. So when it hangs on your back, you only see the handle, no emissive laser. Then ZOOM as soon as one grabs it. Is that possible? If so, think that would be worth looking into.
I am VERY much looking forward to your upcoming weapons :) SWEET that you had the sense to add collision to your stuff as soon as you knew about the CapMOD.

I am not really a fan it the crossguard-look to be honest. To me it looks like they were trying very hard to come up with an original cool look, and it just kind of backfired, because it make no sense with laser crossguard. As it would cut the hands of the weilder.

@Quechus13 As a person who has been trained in using swords in real life, I know exactly how they work. One such as this one CAN be fought with, but in terms of movement against an opponent with the exact same skill, the Jedi with that crossguard will always lose (when the crossguard is a laser that will burn you, that is. Other wise you use it ALOT to lean it on the wrist for a more firm grip, and also more involvement of the wrist, so one can move the blade in a more fluid fashion. Just like a normal sword, only the guard, well guards you if their blade slide downwards. But it loses its value when you need to avoid even being near the guard at ALL times). As the guard restricts movement. Alot of the most deadly moves known in the Star Wars Universe cannot be done with this type of sabre.
But to answer your question. I am a Star-Wars fan indeed, that is how I know this sabre does not belong in the hands of someone who wants to be at their best. As it the least practical design so far in that Universe.
@GAGER Which is why this type of saber has a very different fighting style compared to the original lightsaber.
The fact that you compared a lightsaber to real sword makes me think you are full of bs as it's completely different.
@Quechus13 It is not completely different. Just look up the artwork of the Jedistyle and compare it to real life sword fights. If you just take away all the overly flashy moves and strength, it is exactly the same. And neither of those two, changes the fact that the handle is impractical.

@Barak101 hello this is a great mod but I would really like that when I cut someone the would split in half or when the lightsaber touches a wall that part of the wall goes on fire and when I attack a car it would cut if it's in the engine the car would explode thank you for this mod and for listening to us
