CREATE A BACK UP OF WEAPONS.META AND WEAPONCOMPONENTS.META BEFORE INSTALLING
Changes in v2.0:
- Added optional installs for normal pump shotgun, sawed-off shotgun, and sawed-off shotgun luxe
- Changed damage type from punch_kick to rubber
- Renamed components to easier to remember names
Tired of beanbag shotgun mods that convert the entire weapon to non-lethal or mods that don't allow you to change tints of your weapon loadouts? Then this is your solution!
There are varying install packages that are for differing models. All of these models are interchangeable, so if rename one of these models to another of these the weapon should still function as intended since they share animations. These models are:
W_SG_PUMPSHOTGUN
W_SG_PUMPSHOTGUN_LUXE
W_SG_SAWNOFF
W_SG_SAWNOFF_LUXE
The new components must be added to the weapon through a trainer of config file, they ARE NOT available for purchase in Ammunation. The component names for all variations of the mod are:
BEANBAG_GREEN
BEANBAG_PINK
BEANBAG_YELLOW
BEANBAG_ORANGE
To add a component through simple trainer (trainerv) use the "spawn weapon attachment by model name" option in the weapons menu.
To add it through a loadout file add it as if it's a normal component.

Shrewsbury Sentinel Shotgun [Animated] 1.0
Bean Bag Shotgun [Replace | Tints] 1.2

@Dragust are you using any mods aside from Real | RAGE project? I'll try and recreate the error myself and try to fix it going from that, but if I can't do that fast enough I'll upload manual installation instructions soonish.
@themonotonescone yea got quite a few mods, been a while so i cant remember everything that I put in but some of the mods i can note are;
- Real | RAGE V - Weapons and Damage Enhancer
- Immersive pickups or Improved pickups
this would be very cool if implemented into a script, changing it manually is pretty tedious
@Dragust ok, I've finally checked this out after putting it off (oops), and I'm not sure if I'll be able to create a package installer for this since the edits real | rage makes to the files makes them unreadable by a package installer, and after looking through other popular weapons mods it seems to be a problem specific to real | rage and as it's outdated I'm not sure I want to try very hard to fix an installer for it anyways, however I will still make a manual installation tutorial soon
@Nachtfliege I agree, and maybe this could finally push me to teach myself how to write scripts for GTA, but at the moment it's beyond me
