*OPTIONAL make a bakup of original files
[Optional]0) Create " mods " folder in Grand Theft Auto V , main directory and copy update folder inside.
1) Run OpenIV as administrator
2) Open mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf
Replace the files ( Only if have mods folder )
3) Replace w_me_hatchet.ytd & w_me_hatchet+hi.ytd
4) Open GTA V.

Nice!
People have done a lot worse, and the Hatchet doesn't get a lot of love. I would recommend doing a little bit more with the weapon than just changing the blade color, like maybe re-texturing the handle to be made of something synthetic instead of wood - Give it that nice, clean look.
