Hello. It turns out that when installing this mod, when I was in the game, there were no more horns or sirens. I have to reinstall the game, but I am interested in this mod. A solution please?
@kingboss00 I looked and there may be a solution: by getting the vehicle.oac file and the vehicle folder, you would have to put them in a folder that you can name anyhow, then, make a copy- Drag from what is given in the archive to the vehicle folder. Back to OpenIV, right-click, do "import to openformats", open the folder where we put the vehicle.oac file and the vehicle folder, then press the left-click and do the blue stuff Do not know how its called), and select the file vehicle.oac and the vehicle folder, make "ok", a page with write "openformats, new technology studio" etc will open and we will have to click "ok ". I can not test for you or for people because my game does not work any more (I will repair it incessantly shortly), but I invite you to reinstall your game to re-discover the horns, sirens etc .... I ' Hope my technique is good!
@AEDERY16 i already backed up the whole game folder to other disk in case of any problem it may happen while modding if you having any problem with your game you dont have to reinstall it just tell me what you want from the original files and i will send them for you .
@kingboss00 I think I have the solution! After you have the vehicle file and the vehicle.oac file, you must put them in any folder. Return to OpenIV and right-click any or EXCEPTION on a genre.awc file and an edit mode type option. Click Import with Open Formats. Open the folder or hidden vehicle and file vehicle.oac and hold the left and right of the vehicle and the vehicle.oac and most importantly, DO NOT DEFRAGMENT, just click on edit mode which will turn gray and close OpenIV and normally it's good.
P-S: I could not test.
I think the real problem is that there is almost no mod for Israeli police vehicles. I know only one but the trick is that it replaces the police ranger (Nork Yanthon) ..
@RamGilamar, You must do: extract vehicle.awc into openformats, you will get vehicle.oac and vehicle, you must open vehicle and replace the files given by the mod by those of base vehicle. Then, in resident.rpf, you have to drag once vehicle.oac this is normal if it does not appear. Do not defragment, just, remove edit mod and close openiv. Then go to play and it will work.
Give me news!
P-S: I already had this problem, to solve it, no other way than to reinstall the game, unfortunately.
@AEDERY16 I found the solution for my self, the filesize was too big, and GTA only allowes a certain filesize for audio. So I removed a horn sound and it started working again.
Ah well, in any case, I'm glad for you that all remarks! Besides, I would like to ask you a question: do you know how to make files in wav? It would help me a lot (to know) because I have a project that would put the sirens of all the emergency vehicles BUT from all the cities, from all the countries !!!! I know there are already packs of sirens, but not necessarily all the emergency services, and not all the cities, and not all the countries! I would do cities by cities, and if ever a country contains, for example, a national police that should patrol all over the country so (like France), I would do that too!
So, thank you for reading!
Hello @Israeli Sniper, you see, although I do the right technique, I still have this problem (I have no more horn or siren) so I would like to know if you can solve this problem. The link you gave us to access the second version takes us to the site's homepage. So I would like to hear from you. Thank you.
