@Jonesey's Mods Thank you for installing this config! The reloading animation works fine on my end, the animation data files should not cause this issue as they are the same as vanilla SMG's. Make sure you download the V2.0 of _keegan_'s MP5 mod (it fixed the mag bug exactly as described in your case). If this issue persists, could you provide the clip or screenshots so that l can look into it.
great concept! l just found 2 problems: the MG turret can't do a 360° rotation and npc driver only use MG as main weapon.
pls fix the turret if this persists in your test run.

good update! one issue found: fxdecal_splatter_mist3_n in fxdecal.ytd & fxdecal_splatter_mist2_s are the same file (https://ibb.co/qNzcNdx)
