@zorrozol Wouldn't be from my mod as I don't modify textures in any way. @Adeveth This is still functional I just haven't added the latest DLC weapons into the game as of now I don't have a patch for that sorry.
@IgnHart Unfortunately no I made this mod work with Bakas because I previously had to make a billion files to make all the sound mods compatible I just picked the most complete one that didn't under do or over do the sounds and went with it which has been pretty successful I can't make everyone happy I hope you understand.
@Mangokillen Anyone's guess honestly as I don't know how that script functions never used it, scripts are not my area of expertise sorry.
@_Anonymous Thanks for the kind words and yeah sorry about the issues you mentioned I am just not updating this right mod now got to much on the go appreciate the rating though thank you again !!!
@Valegia Yep go into the main weapons.meta file and change the ammo count settings you can find the first one by searching for this <Name>AMMO_PISTOL</Name> once your there you will see a series of numbers under each heading change the numbers to whatever ammo count you wish to have hope that helps you out.
@Miswrote Thanks for that much appreciated !!!
@YouOnMyBlockNow To be honest I haven't played in months so at the current moment to suggest what is best would be misleading.
@YouOnMyBlockNow Thanks for the rating first off seriously thank you. Other then that oh boy right now I don't even have the game installed on my system lol just got a new SSD so for recommended mods it's honestly just personal preference most mods that don't affect gun sounds or weapons data will work with this mod with no problems. Honestly most mods these days the good ones are legacy they still work but little in the ways of updates these days. I would recommend just finding what tickles your fancy by selecting from the highest rated mods in each category that will usually be a really good start. As far as new updates are concerned my last comment before yours sort of touched on that subject hopefully that answers it for ya take care for now thanks for the comment.
@rmc273 I get ya I might but honestly I just got exhausted from this game and I still am it just doesn't do much for me anymore. That might change at some point but for right now nothing excites me about it. Now that being said if Red Dead Redemption 2 comes to PC which I think it will ( they are waiting so people will double dip ) The modding work I will do for that game will far surpass anything I have done previously. I have a lot of plans for it when it does come to PC and my experience/knowledge is far greater today then when I started modding GTA 5.
@EthanFrome No problem go into the main weapons.meta folder or the DLC equivalent to the particular gun you want to modify once there look for the weapons heading in this example I'll use WEAPON_PISTOL . Now under this heading look for these lines <RecoilAccuracyMax value="4.000000" />
<RecoilErrorTime value="3.500000" />
<RecoilRecoveryRate value="3.500000" /> Lowering the recoil error time will reduce recoil drastically you can also modify the recoil recovery rate if that doesn't quite do the job for you. IF you want to go a step further you can also lower the numbers on these two lines : <MinTimeBetweenRecoilShakes value="50" />
<RecoilShakeAmplitude value="1.800000" /> These modifications will have to be done on a per weapon basis it is individual to each weapon these settings. Hope that helps you out take care for now.
