@JustXD Installing an older update.rpf for me didn't work, EGS kept telling me the game was broken and it needed to verify the files, FiveM method works perfectly for myself and 2 other friends.
@awesomelink234 Well it went fairly easy for me. I installed FiveM, I ran the FiveM launcher, it told me that it needed an update (I think that's the moment it downgrades itself to 1.0.1868.1) and when it was done I did put mods in the /plugins folder in "FiveM Application Data" and bam, works!
Note that ScriptHookV is natively installed for FiveM and already but in its root folder so you don't need to put a new one in there.
For people that want to install 1.0.1868.1 mods and scripts with Epic Games Store version, simply install FiveM and play through it's singleplayer launcher (and you can access Online mode as well through singleplayer launcher)
