Not just the grip. The textures look muddy/murky, the model seems rather low poly, the detail level doesn't match other weapons (so it's quite out of place), the same can be said for when a highly detailed attachment is sitting on it. It just kills the immersion. Not sure what else to say sorry, there are quite a lot of other M4s on the site that blend in better with the rest of the game. Relative to those (and the default one), I think the score is fair

@Rippler Oh well. I redownloaded the game and tried again, no luck.

I ended up having to use 'Refined weapons and gameplay' which is nowhere near as good as this mod, but it works. I have no idea what the issue could be. Thanks for replying though!

I've been using your mod for years now, but I'm suddenly getting a strange error. I have a new install of GTAV and I followed your instructions to install it. When I start the game, it hangs are 'loading story mode' - it never loads into the game. As soon as I remove the mods directory that OpenIV creates, it works again. If I install your mod again, it stops working.

I also went through every folder manually and tried installing that way, but it still doesn't load into story mode.

Any idea of what the issue might be?
