Did i read somewhere something about changing settings in Realistic Driving V because it isn't designed for a wheel?
@MvcGyver Thanks mate!
@MvcGyver Thanks man, i didn't modify any files like that but i did run into a problem and have since deduced it to be because of the "Rippler Realism" optional extra. It puts me into perpetual loading screen.
If i delete all the folders in the "mods" section of OpenIV will that mean i can run the game without mods and not have to validate? is that quite a logical thing to do with a buggy modded game? Im fairly new to modding and all the different paths to achieve correct results. Normally it nexus mod manager i use so as you probably know it makes it very easy. By the way your actual mod is great. Really changes audio intensity in gun fights!
Hi, i have a technical question. Say i have altered a sound file for the Minigun for example and i havnt made a backup of the original sound. If i go into OpenIV and delete said file in the mods folder and then validate my game through steam does that recover the now missing file and will that also override other sound files back to the original? Would this be a general solution to the same problem in other files not just audio? (i will rate how the mod works when i get it running lol)
@nash_holt What error messages/issues are you getting?
I basically when into my GTA 5 folder and deleted everything apart from the 3 EXE's and moved my other mod that i knew was working fine "Manual Transmission & Steering Wheel Support" (which is f$cking epic by the way) then after a lengthy "re-validation" of my game (basically a reinstall) i also deleated OpenIV and reinstalled that too. Added scripthook and all 3 of its contents for my other mod and followed the instructions to a T. Basically delete and reinstall everything. I believe that a bit of a mod i thought i had got rid of remained causing a conflict.
Actually i think it works. Good work!
ok ill try again. (sent you a little donation for your help)
@ikt and that should work with the current gta5 build? because i dont think i can roll back. Dont mean to pester but i just feel im missing out and your very helpful.
Are there any real speed/handling mods that actually work? Or am i just not getting it?
@CG- because no one is updating the mods. I cant get a single handling one to work! I really don't want to sound ungrateful but grrrr lol
