@Makinolo A quick query regarding the virtual speed value within this mod - Does the mod simply take the speed value sent from the trainer as the 'in-game' speed? Keith Wakeham has done a brilliant video deep-dive into the values this transmits back to the trainer which leads to this question as to how the speed is generated within GTAV.
Changelog update "Garmin has politely asked to remove any resemblance to their product line from the mod" Booo Booooarmin! ;) We can unofficially re-skin it to anything, right?
Final report for today.... I was using a newer version of ScriptHookV.dll. Reverting back to the older one resolved m 'no Garmin' issue. It's all good. My wife rode for 25mins (while I was steering... and shooting). No FIT file resulted from that particular ride. They exist for my other tests.
When are the FIT files generated? And what's the best way to ensure they're created/saved at the end?
USB Keyboard with a NUM pad installed. GTA V (Steam) installed. The only issue I'm having is no bike GPS overlay is coming up. Everything else is as expected now. Sometimes the menu is displayed properly, sometimes it's white on white... still trying to get to the bottom of no mod_textures showing (where I'm guessing the "Gaming" GPS overlay comes from)
Thanks everyone and @Makinolo for the comments/posts in here. I've given up on the Epic Games version (it almost worked... no Garmin and it'd crash out often). I am now Steaming it down :) And who'd have thought I'd have to purchase a USB keyboard for anything.... One less 2.4 wireless device is a good thing in the Lama Lab. I'll post an update on how the Steam version goes.

I've been trying to get this working for a few hours today. Epic Games version, so that didn't help.
- The F5 menus have have only properly displayed once. The rest of the time they're blank/white but still functional.
- My dude doesn't change into cycling clothes. He loses his legs and puts a helmet on. (The legs aren't drawn).
- No virtual Garmin shows up on the HUD.
- Slope issue was resolved with the comma to dots (cheers!)
- It crashes a lot. My little dude gets off the bike and gives in when the script/mod crashes.
I was looking to livestream some of this but it's not at that stage on my system yet.
@defiancecp The FIT files look to be auto-saved in your Documents folder (GTA/etc)
