Fantastic mod! Well done ImNotMentaL. Between this and your Premium Deluxe Car Dealership mod we're practically where Rockstar should have put Single Players all along. After a long hiatus from GTAV I'm not greatly looking forward to spending a lot more time in Los Santos and Blaine County thanks to you and your frankly extremely professional work.
@qiangqiang101 Thanks. I'll get those installed (thought I had them, but I'll reinstall).
@qiangqiang101 This mod is fantastic. Great way of getting new cars and as recommended works great with Single Player Garage assuming you get the correct version of VDotNet (I've only managed to get both working with 1.1 so far). This brings me to my next question: given that mlgthatsme seems to have gone dark would you ever consider taking over his SPG mod (with his permission of course) and putting the two together? SPG is great, but without updates it's becoming harder and harder to keep it working with other mods.
I like the sound of this. While I'm not usually one for removing options from a game I do find myself turning the radio off when I get on a bike (who's stupid idea was it for bikes to have radios anyway?) or just switching to Self Radio when I get in a car. If this works the way it seems to I can set those as the only options and then radio button becomes an on/off toggle; so much easier than using the radial every time I get in/on a vehicle.
This looks good. I'll try and merge it with Killatomate's Realistic Driving V (never edited the handling.meta manually before). Anything to get rid of that horrible "turbulence" and make planes feel anywhere near as sensible as the above mod makes cars.
@Drift King In the config you'll see lines such as:
bicUnit=0; Use metric system for bicycle speed (1) <0-1>
You need to change the very first number on the line, in this instance bicUnit=1 would apply a change.
I hope that clears it up a bit.
Just thought I'd leave my findings up here;
1) You CAN delete any garage files to remove it from the game, so if you don't want all nineteen garages on your map you can remove the ones you aren't using. I'm currently using The Eclipse Towers for Franklin (role-played it came with the new house), Ginger Street Storage for Michael as a smaller garage for his classic cars/bikes, and Youtool Lockup for Trevor. Just seems to fit really well.
2) I absolutely love the new garages, having a selection outside Los Santos is amazing! However I noticed when I first loaded this mod up there was a few garages that were already bought and had cars in them (presumably from taking the screenshots).
@Teigi All you need to do is delete the old scripts and reinstall the fresh ones. I did this with the original SPG mod when I restarted without issue.
My big question is; can we delete the script folders for garages we don't want to use for a specific playthrough. Call me obsessive, but having a ton of garages around I won't use cluttering the map can get annoying. I really appreciate the effort you guys have gone to to give me the options, and I'll likely use different garages for each playthrough I do, but it'd be great to just pick three, one for each character, and remove the rest until I start again.
Great mod. Works as advertised; no drama. Now I can really have some fun with the cops, and do it in style!
Really nice. I didn't realise how annoying it was to permanently have a suppressed weapon until I tried this and found I could switch between the two states quickly depending on situation.
The only things I could really quibble about are that a) you don't need to buy a suppressor for this to work (I always do anyway), and b) changing suppressor states is effectively an instant reload. Nothing serious, but just thought I'd report that.
Fantastic mod overall though. Definitely keeping it for the future.
