@UsagiTsu001 Basically it goes like this:
trains.xml and traintracks.xml goes to mods/common.rpf/data/levels/gta5
trains1.dat goes to mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5
overhauledtrains goes to mod/update/x64/dlcpacks
Go to update\update.rpf\common\data\ and right click and choose Edit on dlclist.xml then add <Item>dlcpacks:\overhauledtrains\</Item> under the last line, finally click Save.
You might also gonna need HeapAdjuster, Limitless Gameconfig and PackfileLimit Adjuster so that the game won't crash
Hope this helps
@andrejppv by the way all files included inside the x64 still go to the x64 inside update folder (the one that contains update.rpf)
@andrejppv so in the installation tutorial they tell you to go to the update.rfp right? after the los santos tuners update manually installing mods in the update.rpf folder will make your game unplayable. the correct folder you should install this mod in is common.rpf
cool mod and all but pls make a oiv installer cuz manual install is a bitch
To anyone who is having trouble with CTDs and errors, they have nothing to do with the game files' integrity but the installation guide itself. you should watch the video down below to understand how to actually install this mod as of June 19th 2022 since the new updates changed the location of the important files around a lot which makes the installation instruction that comes with the mod OUTDATED and will literally BRICK the game if you follow it so stay away from it. The mod will work fine only if you install it correctly
This is the video i was talking about.
