- In 1.0.3 I've included an example DLC pack.
DESC.
- This mod allows you to convert MapEditor & Menyoo maps to ymap format. Simply open the map file, and export. Don't rename the file from ymap.xml to ymap, that's not how this works. It's an openFormats file, so just drag it into OpenIV and it will be converted to ymap automatically.
INSTALLATION
- Install .NET Framework 4.5.2 or higher
- Install C++ Redist 2013
- Extract the mod files to a folder on your computer, and start ME2YM.exe to run the application.
GETTING AN ERROR?
- If you seem to be getting an error when opening a map editor and/or a menyoo file, then install this https://slimdx.org/download.php and use the x86 version for *4.0*. Also, make sure that the mod files are not in a zip archive when you run the exe. All files need to be in the same folder, besides the example dlc pack, it's not relevant to this. Hope this helps!
- Remove all ped and pickup references from your xml files, these are not supported in ymaps and you will get an xml error when trying to import the map.

- Credits to Unknown Modder for supplying me with a prop hash table.
- Credits to Dekurwinator for helping me with quaternion conversion from MapEditor to YMap.
- Credits to Guadmaz for being the creator of map editor.

hey bro i parked some cars and saved them to menyoo spooner file then i converted them to ymap and added to custom_maps folder but isn't loading

Everyone keeps saying remove peds and pickups, the xml file I'm trying to use doesn't have any peds or pickups worded anywhere. I have also tried many different xml files and all of them have a error.

@sollaholla, the Mod worked just fine. Menyoo xml went in and was loaded onto the game map no prob. However, doors were frozen and the occlusion was off the hook! A) what's the process for making doors dynamic for ymap from Menyoo and B) how do you ditch the 'tornado of occlusion?'

It's been a while that the game won't read my Custom_maps folger. Does anybody have any tips? I noticed it stopped working after I added Liberty City.

I've tried to open an .xml but nothing happens. When I go to export the files is empty. I have no peds or pickups. What's wrong here?

I get 'Failed to read file' error when trying to convert an XML, I have checked the file and can find no reference to peds or pickups, what could I be doing wrong?

@iurisaimon The only thing I can think of is to download Map Builder v1.08; manual install. You don't need to install it, but extract the zip and there is a custom_maps folder with a more updated dlc.rpf inside. Try and use that one in OpenIV.

This mod doesn't work for me, yes I know it is outdated. For anyone interested, I imported a Menyoo XML file into CodeWalker, saved it to YMAP and put the file into my custom maps folder. It works. I would use CodeWalker to convert to YMAP if still having issues with this mod.

@BritishBacon Problem I'm having is codewalker doesn't see map builder props except for the 'numbers'. This mod still works except for the horrific occlusion that causes the MB props to disappear when the camera turns a certain way. I notice other users of MB that go to ymap don't have this issue. I have no idea what's causing this.
