Ever wonder why there are so many taco trucks spawning in-game? In the beta version of GTA V, players could buy food from the trucks or drive them around and make some extra cash by selling tacos. There is also more evidence that it was present in earlier versions of the game because the side of the truck can be opened via scripting or force entry to reveal food items. Anyways, that's exactly what this script adds back! To get a taco truck's attention, just press the Right D-Pad on your controller or E key like getting a taxi's attention, wait for him to come to you or go to the truck and buy food for some extra health. Or if you want, driving taco trucks in this mod will make pedestrians of Los Santos or Blaine County hungry and fixing to "Kill That Hunger!" and will whistle for you to come to them for some tacos randomly, good for some extra buck. You can also rob the truck for some quick cash but they will call for gangs to hunt you down!

In the car, in the ammu-nation, whenever I press Right D-Pad near taco trucks cause getting attention.
This is only issue so I hope you fix it in future

Can we get a .ini file to edit some basics? For example the money when i sell and buy and the radius between the customer and the car? Because i always have to go through everything because the NPC's don't walk up to the car so i have to go to them. Thanks! @jedijosh920

This is a great add on to the game love it. the only ting I dislike is the fact that you cannot park at the beach or a park and have them walk to you, you need to go to them
Such a great idea. Reminds me of GTA Vice City when selling drugs disguised as a Ice Cream truck. But now I am selling harmless Tacos. So lit!
Nice mod, but the income is too low. Also when buying food, does it heal player?
Fun mod to help add to the experience along with working burger shot and hotdog vendors.

@jedijosh920 It seems this is no longer properly working on the newest version of GTA 5. Well, it half works. You can steal the truck and make money still, but you cannot wave them down and buy food anymore. It just makes you insult the driver, and he gets out to kick your ass lol. Any plans on updating this? Also the working hotdog vender mod is also not working anymore. If you're lucky enough to find a hotdog stand with someone working it, when you go to buy the hotdog, nothing happens. After that, none of the other hotdog stands with people behind them work. No option to buy comes up anymore.

This tiny bit of detail that was taken off from GTA V and appeared in San Andreas
Wish the truck opening animation lasted longer and that whistling from the NPC's wouldn't be so often, but overall works as advertised :)
Okay so turns out JediJosh has left GTA modding in 2019, and probably the gaming communities in general (or at least isn't active on them; I checked all of his links).
BUT!!!
I am willing to voluntarily FIX AND FORK any of JediJosh's mods and re-upload them here (with due credit of course). I'm also willing to make small, QOL changes to existing mods or to restore/enhance/add a bit of functionality to them.
I have programming experience in Java, C++, Python and a bit of SQL, but absolutely no exp in GTA V modding, so I'll need a hand or at least someone to show me what causes the crashes/bugs.
