Description
This is remake of my previous BackpackInventory mod.I decided to simplify it .as much as i could and make it more universal for each human character.
DEFAULT CONTROLLS
Hold "the button you use to duck in vehicle (if you dont know wich key it is,go to your GTA Control settings and check it) for backpack menu,then just follow the instractions that will apear in left top corner
Feautures
-Universal for each human character (Every single human ped character will have its own bag stat and inventory);
-Stash all your weapon in duffle bag and leave duffle bag anywhere you want(You can collect it again anytime ,even after game restart);
-Limitation of carrying weapons without dufflebag;
-Speed decrease if you carrying long-barrel weapons in inventory;
-Dynamical bag size depended on carrying weapon number (Will get bigger if you carry more then 3 weapons in inventory);
-All actions are accompanied by animation and sound effects;
-Possobility to carry bag in hands or put in on the shoulder;
-The bag will automaticly taken off while getting in a car;
How to install
1.Drop all folders and files in Script folder to your ../gta5/Scripts/ (Just like all the other Scripthookvdotnet2 .dll scripts)

this is dope I'm curious if you could do something similar to RDR 2 where you can access your full armory within your car but only be able to pick a limited amount to carry on your person

It's a great mod! But I wish it would be compatible with Native UI 1.7 (Feb. 2018 version), because there are many mods that don't work with Native UI 1.8. According to a post in another forum, Native UI is actually "backwards" compatible, but has an issue in the recent version. It already has been fixed in the source code, as you can see on Github, but the author didn't release the fixed version yet, so many users have to stay with 1.7, so older mods can work. :-/

It would be amazing if you by any chance could add support for Pickups mod. I came for this mod because Pickups only allow 2 guns (handgund and a rifle, plus grenades, etc) and I wanted to have the ability carrying other weapons, whether in a bag or in my car's trunk. Then I found your two mods and they're great! But there's one thing that could improve the experience. For example an option to save/load various loadouts from the bag instead of the entire inventory. Currently if I load the inventory from bag, my character drops all those that he cannot carry. It would be have some kind of "slots" in the bag where we can store/load the current loadout, and then be able to switch these loadouts.
For now I have a workaround with Pickups: I carry the bag with me if I want to pick some more weapons from somewhere. Later I store them in the trunk from where I'm able to pick only those weapons I want to to carry.
So in this regards it also could work by just providing the same wepaons selection menu, that you added to the trunk (Save My Car mod).2019年1月11日 -
That would be great! However, I recently dropped Pickups because it sends me into e quip loop too often, and I saw that we can disable automatic pickup feature even too late, already had it uninstalled.
But I faced another issue with your mod. After a mission my characters lost all their secondary weapons, and only the pistols were remaining. Also nothing were left in the bag.
And I trhink it would be better if you'd allow us to carry two weapons without the bag, like a pistol and a rifle.

well...ok... THis is odd! Now, after I've started the game today, suddenly my secondary weapons dropped on the floor and I could pick them up again.. lol
But it would be really annoying if I'd loose weapons after a mission and get them back, only when I restart the game (reloading a save doesn't work, I really have to restart the game)2019年1月11日 -
I'm sorry to bother you again! Is there some kind of a mod limit in GTAV?? Because I feel like the game randomly doesn't load some mods at each game start... Now not only that my other weapons just fell "from the sky", also your pistol holster mod suddenly works without problems! (Before I wasn't able to bring up the holster menu. But I also didn't change any settingas since the last run..). But therefor now another mod doesn't work (it's weaponback.dll from a zombiemod. Usually I press T to pack the currently equipped weapon to the back. THis used to work fine with the dufflebag mod.).

Nevermind, I figured the cause if my problem.
Geat updae! But for me the menu doesn't open.. the first menu works fine, but when it comes to the point where I have to press ENTER to open the selection menu, nothing happens and then also the normal menu stops working as well as some other mods menus...

Forget that! Idk why I'm that stupid today.. xD I accidently copied shvdn-extender into my scripts folder (was laying around in my backup folder). Removed it, now everything works!

There is one thing that annoys me a little: I have the bag with me, go into a ammu-nation and buy some guns with ammo. Then I go go the shhoting range and do some practice. When done, all weapons I just bought are gone, and so is the money. Why don't they get saved into the bag? If I can only use all the inventory slots when I carry the bag, so why I loose all the weapons I just bought, but my guns that I was already owning before are stil there? And I didn't store them into the bag. TO be clear: I had a pistol already. Then boughtr a rifle and a shotgun. But those two weapons went missing after the shooting range, while I still have my pistol.

Also after a savegame reload, my shotgun was missing, probably because I might have quit the game before the 5-seconds check from your mod applied. But I still don't get it why all weapons I've bought got missing after leaving the shooting range. Something is not right. Weapons should get saved in the bag automatically, so in case it gets missing due to a starting event/mission and the bag gets unequipped, they aren't fully gone.

@Hunk thanks for this very promising mod, I was looking to get as close to the experience of GTA4 with maveric series of realism mods by a guy called AngryAmoeba, which are among the best heat/drive crime sandbox simulator mods ever made.
I have a suggestion for design improvement or for an alternative version of your mod for you to consider.
Here's the problem I see with your current mod:
I think the type of game gta is - even if modded for pseudo-realism, like mine is - your mod is unnecessarily complex. There's little point of going through long, awkward menus to put things in and out of the bag, it takes ages and there's about zero use in stashing a duffle bag anywhere other than carrying it on our shoulder - it's not a hitman-type game where you have to discard evidence, even if we want it to be - it just doesn't work this way. There's also zero use of putting the bag in your hand - it's a gimmick, since you can't even use a weapon then.My suggestion would be for you to consider making an alternative version of this mod with following simplified set of rules that aid other great mods such as arrest warrant, RDE etc that make GTA5 into tense crime sim.
Here are the rules I'd like to propose:
1. all weapons are stored on player, like in the vanilla game.
2. all weapons can be dropped into environment with a hotkey (e) and picked up with a hotkey (e), like some pickups mods.
3. all weapons have weight and the more the player carries the slower he sprints or can sprint for shorter durations (stamina bar type thing). That is an important design counterbalance to carrying a whole invisible armoury in your pocket.
4. dufflebag model is NOT a physical object that needs to be spawned/can be dropped/picked up. It automatically appears on player's back and grows bigger when player starts carrying bigger weapons. It also automatically grows smaller/disappears when player drops or looses them.
4. Smaller items, up to a combination of: handgun + uzi / handgun + short shotgun / uzi + short shotgun, are automatically concealed on the player without the bag model appearing. They are small enough in game's symbolic terms to be concealed on the body and invisible to police and pedestrians.
5. anything more/bigger and the duffle bag automatically appears and scales to size from small backpack to sports bag to proper duffle bag.
Optional: consider allowing to set a player-chosen, semi-realistic limit to how many guns can be carried max, for example no more than 5 guns of any size in total. I'm already using a 'less max ammo' mod and it makes the game much more enjoyable.
;TL DR;
Modify/alternate your mod so that duffle bag has no management and is just an automatic visual explanation for where all those weapons are and why cops can't see them on you.Thanks, really hope you'll give it a go, a perfect set of mods like that has been made for GTA4 but is still missing here, and you are the closest to getting one aspect of it perfectly, well done!

This are the keycodes you need, this are keys you binding in your Game control settings. for example you bind "VEHICLE HORN" button to "V" on your keyboard or "X" on your gamepad,so you want this key was smoke meny key,right ? so you find in that list "INPUT_VEH_HORN = 86" and get this "86" number and replace "175"( SMOKE_BUTTON = 175) with "86",so it would look like : SMOKE_BUTTON = 86, wich means now, your SMOKE menu button will be binded to "V", the key you binding in your gta settings to Horn in vehicle
