DESCRIPTION:
Join the Families and call Quick Jay for some street gang style Jobs. The jobs will vary depending on the in-game clock time (if you call between 02:00 and 08:00 you get to steal a car, between 08:00 and 14:00 you ride a bike and do stuff with your homies and so on).
The day is divided in 4 segments:
08:00 - 14:00 Jobs: Biking Around - Homies In Need
14:00 - 20:00 Jobs: Shopping For The Fam - Crumbs To Pigeons
20:00 - 02:00 Jobs: Brawl Between Boys - Surprise Motherfuckers!
02:00 - 08:00 Job: For A Few Wheels More - One's Better Than None
After a Job is done there is a real time cool down of 15 mins (configurable in the Patron version) so that with the normal flow of game time it should be 1 job type per day.
If you call Quick Jay in those times of the day and you have more job opportunities available (for example between 14:00 - 20:00 there is the "shopping" one and now the "drug dealing" one) the job will be picked randomly. If you just completed/failed one, then the one without cooldown will be picked instead.
Some mission require you to recruit Families Gang Memebers (if you don't know where to find them just go close to them at the Hideout and they will join you. The spawns at the Hideout will reset after the player has gone far enough from the Hideout).
In The Gang if you complete enough missions there will be chances to get attacked from some members of the rival gangs (if you fail a Job the completed mission counter will reset).
About the Hideout defense event:
From time to time (default randomly between 6 and 35 minutes) when not in a mission Quick Jay will alert you that the Hideout is under attack.
You can go there and help the homies to defend it (you have 3 minutes to reach the hideout) or you can just ignore it (or even run away).
There are chances they win without your help but if they lose you also lose some money.
You can change how often the Hideout Attack takes place in the settings file that comes with the Patron Version.
My mods usually don't "hold your hand". There are not unnecessary blips and if you fail a job you will normally lose the half of the reward. Expect to lose missions and money eventually.
If you leave The Gang you'll have to wait 10 mins before you can join again (configurable in the Patron version).
As always i try to create an immersive and semi-randomized mod to deliver an high replayable experience.
After joining The Gang, Quick Jay's contact on the Phone will be at the end of the contacts list (just go up when browsing the list. Not much I can do about it)

Yeah this dont work even on the latest version of SHVDN. Cool ideas but doesnt work as soon as i got to the mission objective it disappeared along with all gang members, quick Jay on my phone and the safehouse thingy on the map. Disappointing
Amazing mod! Only issue is my game crashes a lot with this mod installed. When I remove it, I don't have that issue as much. Not sure what is triggering it
There is that problem with Companion.wallet() when there is an attack on the hideout (every 10 minutes, I wish I could adjust that) and I am not there and have less money that they want to deduct, the script just crushes.
I like this mod but im rating it 3.5/5 because there is no turf mod if there was a way to start gang wars n take over neighborhoods itd be really nice but other than that missions seem a little repetitive but its all good thx for this beautiful mod
I am experiencing some issues with the following mods:
- The Gang
- The Agency
- The Club
- The Mob
First of all, it seems that if I join a faction with one character, I can't join any other faction, even with different characters. For example, today I joined "The Gang" with Franklin, and when I tried to join "The Agency" with Michael, I was told that I needed to leave "The Gang" first. It seems that once I join a faction with one character, all the other characters are also affected.
My suggestion is to create a 'Combined' version of all four mods. In this version, three factions would be exclusive to their respective characters, while the remaining one could be a side faction that everyone can join. Here’s how it could work:
- The Gang = Franklin (since he is from Grove Street)
- The Agency = Michael (due to his past affiliation with the government)
- The Club = Trevor (because it would be hilarious to see him interact with them, especially since he destroyed the Lost MC Club)
- The Mob = (this could be the side faction)
This way, each character would have their main faction, and we could still enjoy the side faction without restrictions.
Hello, I have The Gang mod and the LS Life mod and everything works except that I use my phone, the only contact that appears is Zee but when I call him it calls Zee + Quick Jay which causes a menu bug and launches a The Gang mission as soon as I call Zee to sell. Quick Jay does not appear in my phone contacts

Hi there. Not sure if the comments are still being looked at but i thought id give it a try.
First off I absolutely love the mod. this is how the original game should have been. I'm glad you have put the effort in to make it possible. I will be keeping an eye on your patreon... The only issue I've had and I'm currently in the middle of trouble shooting is - Whilst learning how things worked and getting used to everything The Hideout was under attack by some blue gang. They won and and that gang took over the territory around the Hideout. Which i thought was a cool touch. I had issues getting missions and collections going due to the blue gang killing the Families when everything spawned in.. so I thought id restart and take things abit more serious now I've got a better understanding of the mod.... I've made a new game but the blue gang still own the area around the hideout... I've deleted saves and they are still there.. Ive uninstalled the gang mod. started a new save and they still remain...(its like they are permanently coded to spawn in the zone the families are meant to). so I'm currently in the middle of making a list and I'm about to uninstall Gtav and make a clean start for 'The gang' again to see if that resets everything to vanilla.
I'm not complaining as if I cant get it to be vanilla again I will carry on with your mod as I find it to be the missing component to franklins back story. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I was hoping after a few hideout defences the families would retake the area but after countless battles The Blue gang still have it.

In addition to my previous comment. I fixed it. I took all my mods out of the Scripts folder into a folder that has nothing to do with the Gta V Directory. I then Verified my game files using Steam. Started a fresh save (which as my original plan). Finished the Intro Mission. then Put my Scripts folder back into the game directory. Everything is perfect now.

@Dealien Appreciate you! FYI -- this mod and RDE are incredibly fun together with there being essentially a perpetual gang war on the streets in front of the hideout. The problem is it breaks some of your missions when they start on the street in front of the hideout. If you moved the spawn point for the missions to the back of the building like some of the others, they would play pretty nice together. Really appreciate your work! This one and Forever Together are considered two of my essential mods. :)
@Dealien wassup Dealien, the defense missions is cool but after the missions (I think any mission with other gangs) the rival gang peds (families too) keep spawning everywhere now and they even are on the same car which kills the immersion etc. Its complete chaos for no reason
also maybe its a mod conflict but version 1.4 with the party missions dont work for me. my game is crashing sometimes or just give a unhandled exception notification and stops the mod from working
@RebelDragon1976 I see, maybe in the future if I get other players wanting the same I'll consider moving the spawn points. The thing is that the front has a much easier access. Thanks a lot anyway for the rating! Glad you enjoy my mods.
@wvssuptokyo I thought I solved the chaos after the defense mission. It's probably happening again cause of a conflict with another mod/script which is altering the gangs relationships. Also the other exception you got is probably caused by a conflicts with some other third party mod. Try to temporarily remove the other stuff and see if it solves the issues.
@Dealien apart from your mod , I have CarWizard, Property Manager, Pull Me Over, Better Chase+,, Forever Together, FraudV, Gym, Weed Shop, IV knockdown, V Remastered and Forest Of San Andreas. I dont see what can interfere 9maybe im wrong) but the other little mods are QOL mods, lore friendly weapons and vehicles addon, fixes and patches that really dont touches gang and relationship stuff. I dont think I had an OIV changing relationship and gangs BUT it might .. so gotta double check but thanks alot for your responses. I fuck with your mods since way back
oh and Drive V! its for handling but it changes popcycle, and popgroup
