Santa Clause is coming to Los Santos! This modification enables snow and christmas weather for the singleplayer in Los Santos.
Changelog:
v. 2.2.:
-Fix for loading safegame crashing Grand Theft Auto V.
-Added enabledDefault variable to config to enable/disable default "activation" of the mod.
v. 2.1. (Hotfix):
-Snowmod now uses GTA's internal vehicle/ped snow track material applying. Snow tracks are now the same(handling, vehicle sounds etc.) as in GTA:O. (as it directly applys on the peds/vehicle underlaying terrain material).
-Fixed vehicle handling bugs(top speed etc. modified) - if any problems with handling appear, it's the default snow handling! If you have any handling mod installed, contact the author of the handling mod to implement snow handling.
-Fixed vehicle wheels (mostly front right) disappear randomly.
-Implemented .cfg parser, you can modify the snow track type of vehicles/peds and enable/disable them. Also you can set your prefered enable/disable key now. Read the snow.cfg for more info.
-Changed primary key from NUMPAD 7 to NUMBER 0 (Not on numpad anymore) - (For our notebook - non numkeypad users)
-No snow tyre track and ped foot track on interiors(tunnels, aparments etc.) anymore.

-Entities(Vehicles, Peds etc.) have now tracks on the snow.
-You can change the weather to whatever you want, snow will stay if enabled.
Expected to be in v. 3.0.:
-Fix for vehicle mirrors
-Fix for snow beeing in car- and interiors.
-Ped/Vehicle variation changes realtime to match the actual season if the snow is turned on(winter/summer)
Installation:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of ScriptHook V by Alexander Blade installed.

2. Extract the .asi file "gtamp-snow-mod_v2_2.asi" of "gtamp_snow_mod_sp_v2_2.zip" into your Grand Theft Auto 5 directory.
3. Make sure you have Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 installed.
How to use:
Activate/Deactive simply by pressing NUMBER 0 (above O/P) key
Known issues:
- Mirrors (vehicle) do not display the snow.
- Vehicle -/ Interiors have snow in it.
- Interior Lighting doesn't like snow.

@vithepunisher this issue already existed in GTA:Online as Tunables where modified and snow appeared (back in April 2015). See this video https://youtu.be/jxbOZPZzlYM?t=792
So it seems to be a common shader or material problem of vehicles that snow get's placed on it. I'm afraid we won't be able to fix it until Rockstar will fix it (They have to as they'll put snow in GTA:Online in December).

can someone else update this. the best ;art about this mod is it puts snow on cars , no other snow mod does that!
@azzman_01 Because that is a game bug. It was fixed in one of the later patches, even if this mod was fixed, it wouldn't have snow on cars.
I downloaded the mod for winter in a single game, later I wanted to delete it, but I did not delete it completely, the snow cleared away, but the snowfall remained, help
