Overview:
This mod creates shrapnel around weapon explosions. (RPGs, Grenades, etc.)

Notes:
  • There's a projectile limit of 50 that's hard-coded into the game.
  • If there's a weapon creating shrapnel that you don't think should be, please let me know!

    Known Bugs:
  • If a projectile is deleted or for some reason removed before it explodes (if it's not attached to anything), it can create shrapnel even though it didn't explode

    Installation:
  • Copy "Shrapnel.dll" and "Shrapnel Settings.ini" to your "GTA V\Scripts\" folder

    Changelog:
    V2.0:
  • Fixed a bug causing explosions near an unexploded weapon to cause shrapnel (Explosion near a ped holding a grenade would cause the grenade to create shrapnel even though it didn't explode)
  • Removed the Sticky Bomb from the list of usable weapons
  • Removed the Firework Launcher from the list of usable weapons
  • Removed most of the previous options since some didn't work as intended or are unnecessary
  • Shrapnel now works with AI weapons
    V1.2:
  • Fixed a bug accidentally added in the last update causing projectiles like rockets to move slowly and turn. (This is actually an option that you can change in the .ini now that's mentioned below)
  • Added "Shrapnel Speed (Mainly for projectiles):" to the .ini. Default value is -1.0 but basically a value between 0 - whatever GTA V's max speed for projectiles is. So setting this to 5 will cause that slow projectile issue where as 5000 will make them extremely fast.
    V1.1:
  • Adjusted the random direction part of the shrapnel to make it a bit more consistent. (It is still COMPLETELY RANDOM)
  • Added "Minimum Amount Of Damage Caused By Shrapnel:" and "Maximum Amount Of Damage Caused By Shrapnel:" to the .ini. Before it was a set 45 but now it's set to randomly choose between 2 values that you set.
