Description
This is a simple script I made which modifies the default weapon- handling behavior so that the player must manually reload his weapons. It also fixes a bug (feature?) in the games ammo inventory system which makes weapons reload themselves when they are put away or swapped. Basically, the player becomes solely responsible for managing their ammo inventory. Ammo in a clip will not change until it is depleted through firing the weapon or reloaded manually via the reload key. No more 'pocket- reloading' of weapons stored in the inventory. Weapons with an empty clip also show a reload prompt and make a 'dry fire' sound when they are fired.
Installation is simple, as always. Drag the included files to your game directory.
Also ensure you have the following prerequisites installed:
ScriptHookV
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2015)
Since this just modifies the existing weapon behavior, there are no explicit usage instructions. Just install it and use weapons as you normally would.
If you enjoyed the mod (or hated it) please leave some constructive feedback in the comments area. Thanks (:

Update this mod please - it's one of the best mods for the game.
Good mod it was.. I feel like it's more than possible to fix this mod but I guess people just don't give a damn about this anymore
wont let me reload lmao
need an update !!!
not work
NOT WORK
author is missing, mod didn't work on newer version
Broken and abandoned
not work now
please update this @CamxxCore
update plssssss
@VKST the fix provided works up to 1.67 3028, pocket reload is almost fully disabled on FPV only, and the guns do reload when we press and some reload with the mag emltied which is not that much of an issue, but the pocket reload is broken on 1.68 3095, and guns wont reload untill mag finish unless you press the button to run, if this and the pocket reload is fixed then its okayzits main point is to fix the stupid pocket reload. It doesn't really matter if player reloads the gun automatically at mag finish. Thank you and the author for this great mod btw.
please tell me which folder to put this mod in?
Does someone know a version of GTA V in which this worked? its the only mod that used to work and im downgrading to get this to work, but i dont know the version.
Just leaving this here, mod works by using the fix uploaded above in the comments, and using version 1.57 2372 of GTA V.
I tried 1.67 3028 as someone else said, but it didnt let me reload any guns when using the mod, so i downgraded again
@gab0w post downgraded game file pls
Needs an update for newer versions of GTA5
Doesn't work, I removed it from my scripts folder but it still seems to have broken my reloading?
no shit it doesnt work, no one has updated the file since. stop posting about how it doesnt work, the creator or any other modders dont give a fuck <3
@sloh34 Scripts folder, but the mod dosent work anymore :(
