@mriscan Technically I can probably put one in there but realistically there shouldn't be a need for a throttle control for a controller when the trigger or pedal if steering wheel should be the throttle mechanism.

Yep, nevermind, I should buy gamepad for higher price than literal minimum.

Question, does it work with gta v enhanced? the scripthook nightly is for legacy, and the instructions for the controls I think also only work for legacy, if it doesn't work with enhanced, do you have a recommended mod I can use?

@Gwynbleiid04 https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v-net-enhanced << use that and yes, it should. I'd love for you to confirm this for me if you would. The readme instructions are the same but the folder will be GTAV Enhanced instead of just GTA V.

@RebelDragon1976 Just so you know, I have a non legal version of the game and that may impede things, if you don't want to help because of that then fair, no worries. Having said that, it seems to work, except for the key binds and the throttle control, I'll keep testing tho

@Gwynbleiid04 What trouble are you having with the keybinds exactly?

@RebelDragon1976 Because of the version I have, the path to where the xml for the key binds goes was different, I found the correct one and now everything works, do you know how can I bind throttle up/down to the mouse wheel? that's the only change I would like to do

@Gwynbleiid04 I believe it's IOM_WHEEL_UP/DOWN -- change the setting in the ini for ThrottleUp = and ThrottleDown = respectively.

@Gwynbleiid04 Ok you made me do some more homework -- good news/bad news -- good news I got the correct answer which is MouseWheelUp or MouseWheelDown -- bad news is I'll have to write some more code to make it work with those commands. I'll get that rolled out with next update and tag you.

@Gwynbleiid04 I'm not certain but in theory it should if you use https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v-net-enhanced -- beyond that, obviously it's not my mod so I can only help to a point but you're welcome to catch me on discord later and I'll help you troubleshoot. Otherwise there's a plethora of speedometer mods available which is why I kind of backed off the idea I originally had to integrate something into this mod. I personally like LeFix and have used it for a long time so it's familiar territory for me, but that's all just personal preference. This mod should be compatible with just about any out there.

I knew someone would remake that awesome mod, and yeah, it works perfectly. I just have to clear the left shift key from any function and change the throttle key from "W" to "ShiftKey" and voila, it's back baby, like an oldschool!! damn i missed this mod, thank you so much RebelDragon! You keep this game alive.

btw, i found a glitch/bug/whatever that is, while you get off the car and back in again, the throttle value get reset again to 100%. And the mouse wheel function is not working too. But so far its work perfectly!

@syujafrs throttle percentage default is set in the ini so you can change it from 100% to whatever you want for your default. The mouse wheel will likely have to be set to work with your hardware, but I tested on a generic one and it works. Make sure you have it configured in the INI, it's disabled by default.
