🛑 Step 1: Install Script Hook V
- 📂 Download Script Hook V.
- 📁 Extract the ZIP file.
- 📌 Copy dinput8.dll and ScriptHookV.dll to your GTA V root directory (where GTA5.exe is located).
🛑 Step 2: Install Script Hook V .NET
- 📂 Download Script Hook V .NET.
- 📁 Extract the ZIP file.
- 📌 Copy ScriptHookVDotNet.asi, ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll, and ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll to your GTA V root directory.
🛑 Step 3: Install LemonUI
- 📂 Download LemonUI (SHVDN3 version).
- 📁 Extract the ZIP file.
- 📌 Copy LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll into your scripts folder (create it if it doesn’t exist).
🛑 Step 4: Install AddonPeds (Automatic)
- 📂 Download AddonPeds and extract the ZIP file.
- 📌 Run the automatic installer using OpenIV.
- ⚡ The installer will automatically:
- 📂 Add the addonpeds folder to mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/.
- 📌 Update dlclist.xml (no manual editing required!).
🛑 Step 5: Add Custom Peds
- 🔧 Run AddonPedsEditor.exe as Administrator.
- 🖼️ Use the tool to add custom ped models (.ydd, .ytd, .ymt).
- 📌 Set the ped type (Normal, Male, or Female) and click Save.
🛑 Step 6: Verify Installation
- 🎮 Launch GTA V.
- 📜 Open the AddonPeds Menu by pressing L on your keyboard.
- ✅ If everything is set up correctly, your new peds should appear in-game!

I was having an issue after following the installation where pressing the L key in game was not opening the menu. The issue is having the wrong version of Script Hook V .NET. The link in the installation takes you to the "Releases" page with version 3.6.0 which DOES NOT work. I clicked the link to the "Nightly Builds" and installed 3.7.0-nightly.14 which fixed the issue with the L key not opening the menu in game. This is the only change needed to resolve the issue in Add-On Ped Selector 1.0.4. Hopefully this helps others who were also having issues.
@FlareXll LOL i didnt even know there was a video i was just experimenting with the files, accidentally dragged the dlclist in openiv and it reset the entire dlclist. great mod other than me being a dumbass and thank you for the reply.

Hello,are this will reset my old dlc list if upgrade it to a new version?
Or just copy the old dlc list and paste it to a new dlc list?

installed everything correctly, even tried some fixes i still can't get the menu to open
seems that this dlclistAutoCompiler is causing issues with OIV setups that edits dlclist.xml file because the final comment doesn't have the closing part:

@FlareXll actually im not using your tool, lot of users appeared with issues recently due to the missing comment closing part, i dont think a bad setup would lead to this, maybe its a incompatibility issue with OIV setups, i tested against my setups and worked fine, maybe its NVE setup, this is a example from a user of how it looks in the end of archive:
