This is my first version of the Chicago counterstrike police during the famous events in 1968 "The democratic Convention" I hope you will like it:

You NEED OpenIV !
___________________PART1_______________________
-Uniform:
So you need to downloded the "Retro California Highway Patrol Officers" from @Lundy: (https://fr.gta5-mods.com/player/retro-california-highway-patrol-officers)
Change the names files of the uniforms as:
s_m_y_hwaycop_01.ytd ---> s_m_y_swat_01.ytd
s_m_y_hwaycop_01.ymt ---> s_m_y_swat_01.ymt
s_m_y_hwaycop_01.yft ---> s_m_y_swat_01.yft
s_m_y_hwaycop_01.ydd ---> s_m_y_swat_01.ydd
(DONT TOUCH TO THE: s_m_y_hwaycop_01.ytd and s_m_y_hwaycop_01_p.ydd you don't need them)
When the names had been changed, drag this moddified files in that way: x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf\
When its done, just open the s_m_y_swat_01.ytd file with open IV and drag my uniform textures in. Save and its ok.

The others stuff are more easy to do, you just need to drags my moddels in those ways:
-Police Helmet:
x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\pedprops.rpf\ and drag
-Wood baton: "update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday3ng\dlc\x64\models\cdimages\weapons.rpf\ and drag"

@toitoine66 Were the LA officers wearing a different outfit during the '91 riots ?
@Hystery The timeline is not similar, is the same 1968
@TheSigui its more or less the same, the helmet is exactly the same one in 91, but i need to fix this one so that it will be more authentically like in the 60's. I'm currently working on a LA Version for both periods.

@toitoine66 You think it would be alright if i upload a completely reworked texture of lundys retro cops that are made to look like the 1960'schicago police? i didn't use any of your texture i only used lundies and reworked them to look like chicago police i can promise you it won't disapoint here are some screenshots of it i did every piece of clothing that needed to be done and i will credit you for the idea since you did do it first!: http://imgur.com/a/U1V23
@420x420 you want to do a normal police version? Cause you can replace the s_m_y_cops too, that possible, we just need to find a moddel with the cap only without any sun glases. Well i guess i don't have the rights for the Lundy uniforms so you can do what you want :) Maybe we can do a colaboration for do a 60's pack about somes differents kinds police ? I have a lot of others idea with that uniform... Maybe we can talk in private by MP ?
1.1 version is in progress I will make the 3nd uniform more acurate and put the good color for the watch.
