The Backrooms is an urban legend and creepypasta describing an endless maze of randomly generated office rooms and other environments. It is characterized by the smell of wet carpet, walls with a monochromatic tone of yellow, and buzzing fluorescent lights. Internet users have expanded upon this concept by creating different "levels" of the Backrooms and "entities" which inhabit them.
-----------------------IMPORTANT FOR SP-----------------------
For convenience in accessing the backrooms, i have made changes in the SP version.
The backrooms in SP are all located in the central square and are only accessible with the noclip, under the floor, by dropping down on top of them.
In this version there are only backrooms without scripts
----------------------- Installation SINGLEPLAYER : -----------------------
1) - Open the file with 7zip, Winrar or any other program that allows you to unzip these types of files.
2) - Put "mbt_backrooms" folder into 'mods/update/x64/dlcpacks' director.
3) - add dlcpacks:/mbt_backrooms/ in the dlclist.xml located at 'mods/update.rpf/common/data'.
4) - Start your Singleplayer party and let's go
----------------------- HOW TO WORK IN FIVEM (SCRIPT): -----------------------
at the moment i have created 4 levels of backrooms that i have placed around the map, there are 2 ways to access the backrooms, the first, as we are told by the stories we should glitch and fall under the map, (the script that will manage the entrances and exits from the backrooms made by our DarkSideOfTheCode, has been designed to intervene only when you fall under the map and not when you fall from great heights like the palaces), the second way to access the backrooms will be to find random points also located around the map.
the backrooms project has been designed to be as faithful as possible to the stories.
which is why the exit points that are inside the backrooms have a 70% that you are teleported back into other backrooms

love the mod! i think a gamemode would be great to escape it. like going to the pool rooms maybe nav mesh for ai to chase you.
Finally! Someone made a good backrooms mod!
It's about time someone made a good backrooms map!
I love this. Instead of just falling into oblivion, you get thrown into the backrooms and have to find your way back. This is one of the greatest map + script combos I've seen, especially with the convenience that it brings.
the top floor goes invisible in first person and at certain angles in Single Player.
