I had some trouble initially with the steering initial config; the steering wheel axes were being recognised (the prompt to 'turn right to assign steering' went away), but they all axes read 0.0000 values. It turns out that GTA5 had no read/write access (I was running off an old hard drive's Program Files) and running in administrator mode helped. Hope this helps someone else out.
@ikt , I'm trying to mimic real-life steering control and I've played around with the damper and self-align settings, but one thing I can't seem to get right is the 'rate' of self-aligning. For example when turning a corner IRL, you can relax your grip and it'll snap back straight based on where your wheels are pointing, but there is a bit of overshoot in the self-aligning here. It's not a force feedback strength multiplier issue as much as it is a rotation multiplier. Is there a setting for this?
