My game crashes when I use this gameconfig together with Vice Cry Remastered.

@Kin13 You need to create a New Folder that you name scripts

After the update my game kept crashing when loading. I then realized that it was because of the "GTA S*xLab + InterAct (Debug).dll" that I had in the "scripts"-folder. When I remove this old "hot coffee"-mod, then the game works fine. I guess during Christmas times you get punished for being "naughty" ツ

I had a problem even after I had installed the latest Script Hook V. The game crashed after loading for about a minute. For me the solution was easy. It seems I had not opened OpenIV for a while and when I opened it there was a green sign with following message:

"Grand Theft Auto V Title Update
You have outdated version of update.rpf in your 'mods' folder. You need to copy new version of 'update.rpf' into your 'mods' folder, otherwise your game might crash."

Below the message was a big button which said "Copy new version to 'mods' folder".

I simply clicked the button. OpenIV did something for a some seconds and when it was finished I closed OpenIV.

AND NOW GTA V WORKS FOR ME AGAIN !!! :-D

@fresh2015 and @theNGclan Thank your for your help, guys! I am now playing with Niko. It's awesome. For me it works if I play offline. I have scripthook and the OpenIV ASI files, but it still wanted to force update before I started using fresh2015's offline method. I have to start GTA V as administrator too. I have a GTA V PC download from Rockstar Games site and not a disk. Maybe that's why my game before was extra eager to update and replace modded files.

@weso99999999999999 I have the PC download version from Rockstar's website and I got the forced update when I tried to install the Niko mod.

@runitsalpha I am having the forced update problem too when I try to install the other Niko mod on this site. Are there cracks for the legally purchased game I already have installed or do I have to get a new (complete) cracked version of GTA V PC?

I followed the instructions and I did NOT rebuild the x64v archive. But my GTA V PC is hyper sensitive to changes. It's now updating and replacing x64v.rpf with the original file so the changes will be undone. Is there someway that I can completely "cut the ties" with Social club/Rockstar's servers and REALLY play offline. I can play GTA online on another account on Xbox 360 instead of PC. I bought a GTA V PC download from Rockstar's website. Should I get the game on a disk from a store instead? Could getting banned deliberately be a way of cutting ties with Social Club/Rockstar's servers? If I get banned can I still play GTA V PC in offline storymode? I have tried Trainers, Bodyguard mods, Endeavour and they have all worked fine and I have been able to start GTA V without unsolicited replacement updates from Rockstar's servers.

I use Open IV of course and I have found x64v.rpf and then streamedpeds_mp.rpf, but how do I extract streamedpeds_mp.rpf ? When I right click I only get the options "Copy as path" and "Close archive".
